As well as having specialist skillsets and particular knowledge of period pieces, we understand the importance of conserving original materials wherever possible — especially original horsehair fillings. When this isn’t possible, we use traditional methods to replace them exactly as they would have been.

Bespoke furniture.

For every bespoke commission, we use our expertise and experience to get the best from every detail of our clients’ specifications. We also produce our own furniture under our Harvey Brown label in a choice of bespoke fillings and fabrics.

Sustainability.

We make and restore furniture to last, using biodegradable materials as standard. Environmental impact is influencing furniture design and upholstery more than ever, and we’re happy to work with our clients to use the most sustainable methods and materials wherever possible.
